Friday 28th March 2008 (Day 88)

I did make the stars twinkle but I can't show that on here which is a pity as that was part of my creativity for today

Thursday 27th March 2008 (Day 87)

The background picture today is of two of the little tea light I bought recently. They are like fibre optics in as much as they change colour and they seem to have such a full range of the sprectrum too.

Wednesday 26th March 2008 (Day 86)

The background photo is one of the other bunches of flowers that I saw in Asda yesterday, white and cool green with just a hint of peach in the roses. Where the one I used yesterday shouted its praise this one is for purity and serenity.

Tuesday 25th March 2008 (Day 85)

I went to Asda today because I felt I needed to get some fresh air. As I entered the shop these vivid, exuberant bunches of flowers greeted me. I just had to take their photo. Their very existence in such brilliance was to me an expression of praise.

Our World of Colour (Layout 12)

I haven't managed to do my journal yet for today but I have at least done a paper and elements layout for week 12.

Monday, 24 March 2008

Monday 24th March 2008 (Day 84)

The background to this page is the reflective light from a little glass box I have in my bedroom, as the sun catches it the light is split into rainbow colours on the ceiling I have manipulated it to make it go into an arc.

Saturday 22nd March 2008 (Day 82)

The background photo is off the web I googled for it. I just love the calmness of this photo, it seems to reflect with inner beauty as my little pots do.

Wednesday, 19 March 2008

Wednesday 19th March 2008 (Day 79)

Oh how I struggled with this one, the photographs were easy it was the journaling today that caused me much consternation but I think this is OK, not compromising my own views nor hopefully causing others hurt.

Tuesday, 18 March 2008

Tuesday 18th March 2008 (Day 78)

I really enjoyed doing this one, not all the photos are my own but I have loved putting the montage together.
The background photo is one I took in Skipton from the top of the Rec., overlooking the town, the evening sky was so wonderful. I have had to take some of the colour of it down to enable the words to show through, but I don't think it has detracted too much from its striking beauty

Monday, 17 March 2008

Monday 17th March 2008 (Day 77)

I found today's difficult to know what to make of the lyrics and what to get out of them. Not sure that I have entirely interpreted the prompt right but it is the best I can come up with.
The background photo is the view from my back gate I feel so blessed to have this wide green space and just a short walk dow the lane is the main road and the bus stop into town.

Fifty? (Layout 11)

I have used a different photograph as the one I used for Sunday's journaling I had already used in a layout which is too big for my 365 album so I have chosen this one because it was taken at the same time just after I had been to the hairdressers. With my hair coloured and done in a softer style I feel so much younger than I really am. A real boost to my self image.

Sunday, 16 March 2008

Sunday 16th March 2008 (Day 76)

I think this one should have been yesterday for me and yesterday's today.

Saturday 15th March 2008 (Day 75)

There was such a good reason why I didn't get this done yesterday, if I had I would have really struggled to find a suitable photograph, and as I have said in the journaling this was a blessing to me.

Friday, 14 March 2008

Friday 14th March 2008 (Day 74)

The photo I used of myself was originally a black & white snapshot which I coloured on PaintshopPro very much like my father coloured his photographs only he had to use special tints to do it. He would have love the modern technology but he died too young before pc came into being.

Thursday, 13 March 2008

Thursday 13th March 2008 (Day 73)

The flowers are there because the first thing that was mentioned today was Beauty. The dandylion seedhead is really very beautiful when you look into it. that little purple flower is poking its head out of the gravel. The prunus covering the bush long before the leave really come out properly. God's creation in nature quite wonderful to see.

Joy (Layout 9)

Saturday 8th March 2008 (Day 68)

A strange one today but I didn't know of any better way to show the patience I needed to place these letters and especially the dot over the small i. The background is part of the circle journal that I used the letters on

Tuesday, 4 March 2008

Tuesday 4th March 2008 (Day 64)

It was so good to see the sun shining today especially in respect of today's prompt. So, grabbing my camera I took this photograph of the sun melting the frost into droplets of water clinging to the grass. Natures jewels.

Monday, 3 March 2008

Monday 3rd March 2008 (Day 63)

Sunday 2nd March 2008 (Day 62)

The background to this picture is the painting that is on Neil's wall.

Thursday, 28 February 2008

Thursday 28th February 2008

I found this one hard to think of something new as so many of the little things that give me pleasure and make my day I have already blogged and scrapped. Someone else reminded me of how Sammy would sit on my lap when I am at the computer and be my wrist rest.

Friday 22nd February 2008

I want to add here that my husband used to sit for hours just doing cross stitch pictures and I have many of them around my home. This one is definitely my favourite. It was done on very fine evenweave linen with just one strand of embroidery cotton.
